Howard Franklin, MD
Vice President, Medical and Clinical Affairs
Howard Franklin, MD has served in medical affairs capacity for several small and large pharmaceutical firms. Most recently, he served as medical director at The Medicines Company bringing Cleviprex through FDA approval and launch. Prior to that Dr. Franklin served with Esprit Pharmaceuticals coordinating all clinical efforts in the urology and female healthcare spaces. Prior to his jump to pharmaceuticals, Dr. Franklin worked in the field of medical communications serving big pharma companies such as Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline in the fields of urology and critical care medicine.
Dr. Franklin achieved a BA from Lehigh University and a MD from The Medical Colleges of Pennsylvania. He is a board certified general surgeon who spent ten years in private practice prior to moving on to industry. He also holds an M.B.A. degree from LaSalle University.
